The Laboratory Accreditation Bureau (L-A-B) is an independent organization that provides third-party accreditation to calibration and testing laboratories. L-A-B is a signatory on two Mutual Recognition Arrangements, the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC). Garwood Laboratories' accredited L-A-B scope includes a full offering of environmental test methods under Mil-Std-810, Mil-Std-202, RTCA DO-160, Telcordia/NEBS, Mil-Std-202 and many other environmental test standards. Certification number L2180-1 is valid through July 28, 2011.
The National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program is an organization formed under NIST that provides third-party accreditation to calibration and testing laboratories. NVLAP is a signatory on two Mutual Recognition Arrangements, the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC). Garwood Laboratories' accredited NVLAP scope includes a full offering of electromagnetic effects test methods under Mil-Std-461 and RTCA DO-160, European commercial requirements, Telcordia/NEBS, and many other electromagnetic test standards. The certification is valid through March 31, 2009.
Garwood Laboratories Inc has been accepted as a Verizon Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL). This now allows Garwood Labs to test products for submittal to Verizon for Telcordia NEBS GR-63-CORE and GR-1089-CORE test programs. Garwood is now proud to be among a mere handful of test laboratories in the country approved by Verizon for testing telecom products for utilization in Verizon networks.
