The Dynamics Department of Stork Garwood Laboratories, Inc., performs testing in the areas of vibration, shock and acceleration to military, automotive, medical, commercial and aerospace specifications. This testing can be performed individually, or in combination with temperature cycling, humidity, pressure and hydraulic/pneumatic flow.

Features

  • 6 feet by 8 feet, 3000 pound capacity inclination test facility.
  • 12,000 force pound hydraulic shaker with 10 inch stroke.
  • Capability up to 19,000 force pounds & up to two (2) inch displacement on our electro-dynamic vibration shakers.
  • 8 foot & 28 foot diameter centrifuge facilities with hydraulic couplers and 15 slip ring channels.
  • Centralized vibration computer control and data acquisition area.
  • Computer controlled and digitally recorded. Fast Fourier Transform, Shock Response Spectrum, and Modal Analysis available.
  • Seismic simulation on our 10 inch stroke servo-hydraulic shaker.
  • Full complement of facilities for vibration, shock and acceleration testing, to MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-202, MIL-STD-901, MIL-STD-167 & various commercial specifications.
  • Windmilling vibration capabilities available.
  • Lightweight hammer shock (901) facility approved by Naval Sea Systems Command.
  • Multichannel vibration control and multichannel shock data capture.
  • Operational support of test item (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, etc.).
  • Over a dozen electro-dynamic shaker tables & exciter systems with digital controllers and high/temp, low/temp and humidity capabilities.
  • Pyrotechnic, ballistic & classical shock simulations in excess of 10,000 g's.
  • Sine, Random, Sine + Random, Random on Random, Gunfire, etc. All computer controlled and digitally recorded.
  • Strain, displacement, and force measurement recording available.
  • Vertical free-fall shock capabilities up to 1,000 inches per second.
