The Hydraulics/Pneumatics department of Stork Garwood Laboratories, Inc. has more than ten dedicated pump/flow systems. These hydraulic and pneumatic systems are designed to perform a wide variety of military and commercial testing requirements.

  • All hydraulic oils and aviation fluids available.
  • Complete helium-leak testing capabilities.
  • Fire testing per AS 1055, FAA specs, ISO 2685 & AC 20-135 on aircraft parts for fire resistance and fireproof requirements.
  • High temperature air flow endurance testing at temperatures in excess of +1200°F & air flows of 300 lbs/min.
  • Hydraulic flows to 1000 gpm and 5000 psi.
  • Hydrostatic pressure testing to 75,000 psi.
  • Hydraulic fluid test temperatures from -65° to +275°F.
  • Pneumatic pressure from 0-20,000 psig .
  • Pressure drop & pressure cycling.
  • Specialized proof and burst test facilities.
  • Test automation and data acquisition to meet unique requirements.
  • Impulse testing per various requirements including SAE ARP1383 & SAE AS603.
  • Valve Coefficient (Cv) testing to 1000 gpm on valves, pipes reducers, expanders, etc....
